Dynasty and CP Getting It On
March 4, 2010 • Industry News, Products, Teams • Comments
CP barrels rock. They are cheap and made well, thats really all you should want in a barrel. Dynasty will be killing people with these watch out!
Phoenix, Arizona—Knowing how important top performing equipment is to their success, San Diego Dynasty will be shooting Custom Products (CP) barrels for the 2010 season. They will be using a combination of CP one and two piece barrel systems. In addition, Custom Products and San Diego Dynasty are proud to announce they will be teaming up to create “The Champions of Paintball, Dynasty Edition” line of tournament grade barrels.
Custom Products, the largest aftermarket paintball accessory manufacturer in the world, is excited to be partnering with the world’s top professional paintball team. Travis Dusek, Vice President of Marketing for Custom Products said, “Dynasty has a track record of winning. A partnership between us has been a long time coming and I’m excited for both of us. We will be working closely with Dynasty to make sure that the Champions of Paintball line is made to their exact specifications”

Who Will Win Phoenix? And Why!
March 1, 2010 • Pro, Teams, Tournament • Comments
This off season has been a crazy one, virtually every team has seem changes in one way or another. Dynasty is shooting egos, Philly is gone, and Infamous has added some heavy hitters. With so many changes I’m left wondering who will win Phoenix? XSV and Vicious are the new pro squads that will be taking the field this year in the PSP, although I think they still lack what it takes to win an event in 2010. Vicious did pick up Billy B., Drew Templeton, and Pat Roberts, but I still don’t see them beating half the league consistently. That leads us right into my predictions on who is going to win phoenix, Boston Red Legion. Why? They are the Russians. They have arguably been the strongest team in the last 4 years. With everyone adding new players it will take some time for the new members probably gel with their new teams, it may at an event or two or maybe just a few more practices.
Infamous is going to be REALLY strong this year. Nicky is going back to play with Travis Lemanski, and Rusty Glaze from his old XSV days. It’s still kinda unclear why he left the Ironmen, but one thing is clear he will be playing with one of the strongest teams in professional paintball.
Nicky said on his site nicky-cuba.com
“I was released from the team about two weeks ago. I just want to let everyone know I didn’t want to leave my team at all, but some things don’t always pan out the way you expect.”
“I am pleased to announce that I have chosen to continue my career with Team Infamous.”
This weekend the Ironmen are having tryouts, so it looks like they might be letting some more people go that we haven’t heard about yet. Is Dye running out of money like everyone else, yeah probably.
After the mixing of Infamous and Aftermath, a lot of players were left with out a home or at least confused about their current one. Glenn was one of the guys on Infamous looking for a a new spot to play, and he found Dynasty. Glenn has been around for a long time, and played with many on the current Dynasty guys on various other teams. It will be weird to see Glenn in Dynasty gear that’s for sure, it will also be mighty weird to see Dynasty shooting Ego too.
Edmonton Impact picks up another star player; ex Philly player Ryan Moorhead. Moorhead has proven he knows what it takes to win, lets see if Impact can do some damage this year with the additions of Dave Baines and Ryan Moorhead.

Aftershock picked up three more big guns, Tim Montressor, Stephen Dabilis and Sam Monville
KEE buys JT, this one I saw coming.
XSV is using Aliens guns AGAIN. They were on board to use them back on 2004 ( maybe 2003) but it never fully happened.
